For my reading class, I have to create a scrapbook based on a narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass. It’s a really sad story, and I don’t have any pictures to put in. I need 20 pages in the scrapbook. What should I include?
Hey Ross it’s Ben. I have no clue who he was, but I just wanted to say hi. Tell me if you see this. Wow 20 pages for a scrapbook is a lot. Anyway, tell Ms. Stockrocky about me! Just joking. See you in school! By the way, do you want me to send you that email? I promise the video isn’t graphic and it doesn’t actually show anything happening. It’s just for comical purposes.
I noticed that most of the questions you answered have to do with math. Big surprise.
Just for fun? Besides smilebox. You don’t really make your own scrapbook. I use to go to a scrapbooking site online to build scrapbooks, and it was for free. Anybody know of a site like this?
you don’t build your own scrapbooks on smilebox* I don’t want sites that will link me to sites where i can get scrapbook supplies, i want a site where i can make my own scrapbook online.

I want it so that when my teacher opens the scrapbook project it will sing! But How can I do this? I have the audio thing that is in inserted into the card out of the card and the scrapbook ready, I just need to know!
most I have seen would require you to push a button, not play when the album is opened.
You may have to rig up a tap that is pulled for the music to start. just like it is pulled when the card flap is opened.
I don’t’ see how you can do it so it plays automatically when a page is opened
Hey, another craft question for those who have a Cricut Expression-
I am getting ready to purchase the "as seen on TV" Cricut expression bundle, It comes with 2 cartridges and a bunch of other things.
My question is- Are there any images that come on the cricut alone? or do you have to have a cartridge to get any images from it at all? Thanks so much!
The Cricut Machine is a cartridge based system. It does not have any images loaded into the machine.
The Design Studio software (sold seperately) lets you take the images on the cartridges and make them your own. You can rotate them, skew them or even weld them together to make one big design. The Software does not load any images onto any cartridges or load them onto the machine. With the software you can see and design with all the cartridges that cricut has but you can only cut with the cartridges you own. You have to have the cartridge loaded into the machine to cut with the Design Studio Software.
The Gypsy is basically a portable design studio. You can load the cartridges you own onto it but again you can’t cut with a cartridge unless you own and have loaded that cartridge onto the Gypsy.
There are third party softwares that let you take fonts and shapes from your computer and cut them with your cricut. They are not endorsed by cricut and cricut does not encourage you to buy them. I do own one and love it! I still buy cartridge too though. These softwares do not load the images onto your cricut either so you do need to have your cricut plugged into your computer each time you use any of the above mentioned softwares.
So simply put:
Are there any images that come on the Cricut alone? : No
do you have to have a cartridge to get any images from it at all?: Yes

It is almost my one year anniversary and i know its the "paper" anniversary, So me and my husband are making scrapbooks of Our life individually then sharing them on our one year. I need to know what is a good website to find different questions.. like theres going to be a few sections..
About me/ my life
favorites..
about us.. first meeting etc..
about my spouse…
random questions..
about our future..
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good website to get some questions about all this stuff or had any to add..
thank you that helped to add to it. im trying to find questions to ask to put into each section or to help us put under each to make it a little easier.
I am not sure there would be a website but you seem to have a good idea of the sections headings on your own, what you may also consider,
Where we went together,
All your favourite memories Past and present
I’d like to use buttons in my scrapbooking pages, but I don’t want to pay the price for what they sell in craft stores. What materials are generally safe (acid/lingin-free) to use on scrapbook pages?
Go to CropMom at http://www.cropmom.com and use your photos and CropMom’s graphics to create your scrapbook. They have thousands of graphics including buttons. It is fund, easy, and safe.
I have a pseudo-scrapbook with some already framed spots for photos, but I have no idea how to attach the pictures to the pages. What do I use? Thanks.
You can use double-sided tape, glue stick, a tape runner or glue dots, just make sure whatever you choose is acid and lignin free and photo safe. If it doesn’t specifically say that on the package, don’t use it. If it’s not acid free, it can discolor and eventually destroy your pictures and the pages!
Hi
I am wanting to try out some applique, and wanted to cut out shapes on my cricut machine. I have looked online for some tips or tutorials, but haven’t really found anything.
I am wanting to know what blade I use, regular or deep. How fast I should cut, and what to set the pressure to.
I will most likely be cutting out thinner fabric, so I doubt I’ll need the deep blade. Would I meed a new mat as well?
Any other tips would be wonderful!
The video covers all that is basic.
Save the paper that you peel from the fusible and use it under and over the fabric to protect the ironing board cover and iron from adhesive build-up.
You can also use a temp spray adhesive and paper to stabilize fabrics that you do not want to fuse to another item.
